Clinical History
A patient with a history of colorectal cancer, status post surgical resection, presented for restaging evaluation.

Imaging Findings

   

The PET•CT scan revealed multiple metastatic lesions in the liver. Also noted was increased uptake in the wall of the lower end of the esophagus, which may have been related to inflammatory changes or esophagitis. Further investigation was recommended.
