PET/CT Patient Instructions and General Information

• Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before appointment time.
  
  
• Please do not eat or drink anything 4 hours prior to appointment time, except water.
  
  
• Please drink 32 ounces of water prior to exam.
  
  
• You may take your medications
  
  
• If you are currently taking pain medication, please take prior to your exam for your own particular comfort level.
  
  
• The exam should last 25 minutes.
